March 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are reviewing our school uniform policy and would like to know what you think.
As a staff team we are really pleased to see so many children in our community coming to school wearing our school uniform and looking smart and ready for school. We have designed the uniform so that it is not expensive for parents so we have no expectation that children wear items with the logo on. We have also designed our uniform so that it is practical and easy to wear for our students.
We have noticed that some children are not wearing the uniform so often or not wearing all of it and we are in the process of developing a policy as a school so that everyone has the same understanding of what the school uniform is.
We would like to share a draft policy that we have prepared with you and hear your opinions so that they can feed into the policy. The school will be gathering the thoughts of the children so the whole school community has a share in developing the policy.
You can let us know what you think by following this link: Uniform Consultation to complete a form. There are eleven questions and a space to let us know any other thoughts about our school uniform. This letter is on the school website and we have also sent this link through the school Dojo. Alternatively you can complete a paper copy of the form which is attached to this letter. Please send any paper copies back to the school office.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts and thank you for your time in contributing to the consultation.
Yours sincerely, Mrs C Eyers
Headteacher
