Hi, my name is Mrs Jade Hunter and I am the proud headteacher of West Earlham Junior school.

At West Earlham, we believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things. Our aim is to provide a safe, caring and ambitious environment where every child feels valued, develops confidence and is supported to reach their full potential. We want our children to be happy, curious and excited about learning, while developing the knowledge, skills and character they need for the next stage of their education and beyond.

We have high expectations for every child and believe that education should open doors and broaden horizons. Through a rich and engaging curriculum, we provide children with opportunities to develop their knowledge, creativity, independence and ability to think critically. We place a strong emphasis on reading, language, oracy and communication, ensuring that children develop the confidence to express themselves, listen to others and engage positively with the world around them.

Our school is built on strong relationships. We work closely with children, families and our wider community to create a culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging. We celebrate individuality and recognise the strengths, talents and experiences that every child brings to our school.

Most importantly, we want our children to enjoy their time at West Earlham Junior school. We want them to leave us as confident, resilient and compassionate young people who are ready to embrace new challenges and make a positive contribution to their community and wider society.

We are proud of our school and the children we serve, and we look forward to working in partnership with you to give every child the very best possible start to the next stage of their educational journey.
