In science we have been looking at classification keys and how they work. We have classified insects, superheroes and even sweets. But for our final challenge, we went on a walk around Twenty Acre Woods in our local area to gather leaves and information about what we can find in the woodland around the school. Which flora and fauna there were and then how to categorise them. We were able to see different types of trees such as oak, sycamore, horse chestnut, hazel, maple and holly. We were able to decide what they were by studying their leaves based on shape and size.
